100% Cotton Sheets
How to compare 100% cotton sheet sets while keeping weave, fitted-sheet construction, certifications and pricing in view.
Start with the scope of the claim.
A listing may accurately say the sheet fabric is 100% cotton even when the finished set includes elastic, thread, labels or other components made from something else. Material First records these products as 100% cotton at the textile-fabric level rather than implying that every component of the finished set is cotton.

What to compare
Fabric claim
Look for a percentage tied specifically to the textile fabric, not just “cotton-rich,” “cotton blend,” or “cotton feel.”
Weave and construction
Jersey, sateen and percale can all be cotton, but they feel and perform differently. Compare weave, thread count and fitted-sheet depth.
Certifications
Record organic or textile certifications only when the product page actually identifies them.
Fit and care
Compare mattress depth, shrinkage guidance, wash instructions and fitted-sheet elastic before choosing a set.
The Material First rule
We preserve the seller’s claim without stretching it. “100% cotton fabric” is useful information, but it is not automatically the same as “every component in the finished sheet set is cotton.”
